Art Alive in 2008

Twelve iconic churches were chosen to showcase the skills of modern artists and craftspeople keeping traditions alive and to get the public involved. The idea of the project was to promote skills, get people to locations they hadn't been to before, involved the local community, and get people out of their cars and onto bike or feet to explore the diverse countryside that Norfolk has to offer. The Diocese of Norwich in conjunction with the District Councils of Breckland, Broadland and South Norfolk and the Norfolk Arts Partnership worked together to arrange and promote the event.
